Dr. Rowan Molnar – An Experienced Medical Doctor and Author

Dr Rowan Molnar is an experienced medical professional who has a Master’s of Science in Health Professional Education (Simulation Major) from the MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston, USA, and a Certificate Advanced Teaching and Learning in Medical Education (Simulation Focus) as well as his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Medicine and a Fellowship in Anaesthesia from the University of Melbourne, Australia. Dr Rowan Molnar – An Australian Medical Expert and Author

Dr Rowan Molnar is a medical professional who has worked for many Australian medical facilities and hospitals. He started his professional journey as an intern in the medical industry at St. Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne. He worked dedicatedly and fulfilled all of his responsibilities to the best of his abilities, and as a result, earned a promotion to Resident Medical Officer and Anaesthetic Registrar. He further worked for the Australian Government and he became a part of their Surgical Support Team providing anaesthetic, analgesia and related services to patients of the Australian Federal Police, outpatient consultations, pre-operative assessments, consultations, and participated in an after-hours on-call roster for services to AFP patients.

Dr Rowan Molnar has worked with St. Vincent’s Simulation Centre as the Medical Education Director (Anaesthesia). At this centre, he introduced simulation as educational modality. In addition, he also developed and authored a policy and procedures manual, and organised regular participation of instructors in the delivery of courses at external institutions.

Recently, he published a book on healthcare entitled, “Creative Disruption in Medicine & Healthcare.” The book covers state-of-the-art disruptive technologies in medicine, and provides detailed information about healthcare. The main aim of this book is to help individuals, healthcare experts, physicians, medical groups, and associations gain knowledge of different medical practices and approaches. Clayton Christensen, a Harvard Business Professor, is the source of inspiration behind writing this book. Dr. Rowan attended this professor’s lectures regarding disruptive technology theory in the USA.

Dr Rowan Molnar is a highly-experienced medical professional who founded St. Vincent’s Simulation Centre in 2000. He obtained funding from government and private sources, oversaw the building of the centre, and appointed skilled staff including medical educators and simulation specialist assistants. In addition, he equipped the centre with high fidelity and park task trainers.

Dr Rowan Rustem Molnar has extensive experience in providing patients with the best in medical care. He has worked for numerous leading hospitals and medical facilities across Australia, as well as internationally. He started his professional career in the medical field as an intern at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Melbourne. He served in this position for less than a year, and then earned a promotion to Junior Resident Medical Officer and Anaesthetic Registrar.
